Assurance Tires from Goodyear are all-season tires that are meant for sedans, but there are also special versions available for crossovers, trucks, and SUVs. All versions of this tire have large shoulder blocks. This feature increases lateral grip and thus allows for excellent traction, especially on dry surfaces.

Goodyear Assurance tires also come in ComforTred Touring, Fuel Max, MaxLife, and WeatherReady versions for a more comfortable ride, less fuel use, a longer life, and better suitability for inclement weather, respectively. Stopping distances on dry surfaces are short, and longitudinal traction is excellent. Its UTQG rating is 600A/B. The tire is extremely quiet, and tread growl is virtually nonexistent.

Goodyear Assurance All-Season tires have great wet traction, though braking distances increase on wet roads. These tires perform well while driving on snow or ice but are not specially designed for this purpose.

All versions have a directional tread pattern with four circular grooves and lateral notches, which allow water to quickly flow out. Internally, the tire contains two steel belts reinforced with a polyester cord. This strengthens the construction and makes the tire tougher.

The tire is made using Goodyear's all-season rubber compound. Sizes range from 185/65R14 to 255/50R20, suitable for rim diameters between 14 and 20 inches. Goodyear Assurance tires are made in the USA.
