Jordan 16.5 Team Black Varsity Red

A hybrid combining features of AJ16 and AJ17, the red and black Air Jordans hit store shelves in November of 2009. A mixture of materials comprises the upper, from a shiny patent leather toe box to a pebbled leather and mesh-like synthetic vamp, midfoot, and ankle. A double row of laces defines the lateral sidewall, with stitched overlays accenting a unique Jordan silhouette. The semi-translucent chrome midsole harmonizes the entire look. Jordan is written in braille on the heel, and a rubber outsole with herringbone tread enhances the traction.
