The Pure Platinum release entered the Jordan Brand's catalog in 2014 on the Jordan 28 SE silhouette. The SE version of this sneaker removes the tall outer shroud to reveal the detailed sneaker below. A white upper features a white contoured tongue top and mesh tongue bottom, white heel tab, mudguard, and outer sole. Black makes its appearance on the inner sole, the Jordan brand Jumpman logo on the tongue, laces, and on the contoured phylon midsole that provides the shoe with added support. A white outer sole and tread offer extra grip and traction. Pure Platinum then appears on the bottom arch and on the dual heel guards. The lateral heel guard is stamped with a white Jumpman logo.
