The Jordan Proto Max 720 has an upper that is made almost entirely of neoprene polyester. It's designed to be lightweight, so most of the solidity of the rear is totally gone. Only fabric remains of the upper, which makes it extremely light and comfortable, and the only source of solidity at the back is the back strap. The collar has a saddle-like shape that hugs your ankle. The midsole is made from tough white rubber that gives the shoe a stable base, and the sole itself is made from slip-resistant and almost transparent rubber.
