Samsung Galaxy S9

What a great phone! I've been using Galaxy phones for last 6 years and every year its better than last. S9 is a big leap from S7 line in terms of overall stability and performance. It is a very smooth phone that can handle everything gracefully. Camera is a big change as well from S7 and S8 line up, the low light feature and overall picture depth is great. The new shape, starting from S8 is much better in my opinion. Removing the home button and making the screen stretch almost all of the face of the phone really makes it stand out. Its like holding a thin glass brick. For that reason, black is the color to go with since it will make it look incredibly sleek. On black, its hard to tell where the screen ends and body starts. Best of all, the android OS integration is done really well. Apps don't hang up or crash, transferring stuff from old phone to new one is a breeze...I don't think any other phone comes closer. You just put your S9 next to another galaxy and that its... some how it'll detect both phones and start the process to transfer apps, settings and data. Battery has kept up for the whole day even when I am playing Last Shelter game for 2-3 hours per day...thats a huge drain on battery. This phone does scratch very easily so invest in a good case AND screen protector. Because screen and body are seamless, its easy to scratch or crack both. You sacrifice the beautiful naked phone look but it won't last without protection.

I've been using Samsung since my S2 when I first came on the cellular phone scene. Since then I've had an S5 and briefly an S8; after careful research chose the S9+ as my current model based on unbiased reviews and features. Even though the S10 series was just launched I stayed true to my decision of the S9+ and have not been disappointed. The processor is fast, the display clear and vivid and the internal 256GB memory coupled with a 256GB card is perfect for my needs. Picture and video quality are clear and screen size is appreciated for these aging eyes. All in all it is a great phone for the price and I do not hesitate to recommend.

Pro 1. Screen size is not to big or small. 2. Definitely needs a case to be handle able, but with a case, the phone is very usable. 3. Fast and modern. Works well with current network. 4. Camera is excellent. Con 1. Takes awhile to get used to all the swipe functions. 2. In "sideways" mode, the 3 soft keys don't work or are not visible. 3. Good battery life but could be longer. Can battery be replaced? With a kit? 4. without front button, don't know how to use finger print control.

I upgraded from my s7 due to battery life and only 32gb storage. I am more than pleased with the battery in the s9. i would have to charge my s7 two times minimum to make it through the day, but with this phone i don't have to charge it until i am going to sleep, and even tif i don't remember, it will usually last until morning. I went with a 256gb storage and have been enjoying having more than one large game stored on my phone.

Great phone with all the features you want in a premium smartphone. The international version works on at&t in the US and can also run lineage os if you're into that. The downside is the battery life is a little lacking if you run the screen at full resolution, especially since the Snapdragon versions get much better battery life. I wanted a modern premium phone with headphone jack, sd card slot, and ability to unlock the bootloader so this was about my only option.

I decided to go with a Samsung Galaxy s9+ instead of the newer Samsung s10 series to save $$ - I know I made the right choice, I love the beautiful and clarity of the images produced on the screen and all the added memory space, overall I absolutely have no complaints. So if you are looking into get a newer, good quality phone, but can't afford a $700 & up price tag then I definitely recommend getting a Samsung Galaxy 9+

Super fast charging. Battery does not last as long as my S7 Active but that is understandable. The fingerprint sensor works much better and i love the iris scan for security. Quick processing and you can keep lots of apps running with the 6 meg RAM. It has great sound from the speakers and still has a headphone jack for when i dont have or want to charge by BT ones. Just slap in a SIM (or 2) and go!

I never buy the latest and greatest, I just want something that works and I only replace phones when they become inoperable or cease holding a charge. I also don't want a huge screen, I like a pocket-size device. This one replaces a 3+ year old s7, that worked fine until it literally died it's very last day, when it literally went black. So far, so good with this s9, fast, sleek and does it's job...

I'm very happy with my S9 T-Mobile. It's a great phone with long battery life. I bought it a year used and it still lasts much longer than a day's worth. My last phone would end an 8 hour work day with 40-60% while my S9 will be 85% or more. With some frequent texting it will still be over 75%, sometimes 80% after work. I recommend this phone.

The bluetooth audio is improved and works well with my Sony headphones. The phone is lighter but the screen is a lot less responsive than my s7 even with the more sensitive control toggled. The faster processor is noticeable and the battery makes it a few hours longer. I still need to carry a backup battery, however.
